As the proud owner of Couple of Bartenders CT, I, Marcella, am thrilled to share our journey with you. With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, my passion for mixology and providing exceptional service has taken me from the refined atmosphere of fine dining establishments to the vibrant energy of beach bars and everything in between. Today, I am excited to bring that wealth of experience to your special events.
My journey in the hospitality industry began over a decade ago, where I honed my skills in some of the most prestigious fine dining establishments. From mastering classic cocktails to crafting innovative concoctions, I learned the art of mixology alongside providing top-notch Forbes five star service that exceeds expectations. This invaluable experience taught me the importance of attention to detail, customer satisfaction, and the art of creating memorable experiences for every guest.
Transitioning from fine dining to more casual settings, I explored the dynamic world of beach bars and service bars. Here, I embraced the laid-back atmosphere with clients while maintaining the same level of professionalism and creativity we just had more fun. Whether it was crafting refreshing cocktails under the sun or managing a bustling bar during peak hours and I don’t just mean the bar I mean the beach, cabanas, outside patio, entire restaurant seating, my bar and two others, I thrived in the fast-paced environment, always striving to deliver excellence with every pour I would work 80+ hour weeks at times I was delivering blueberry lemonades, painkillers & strawberry daiquiris in my sleep ( no I literally slept upstairs in the staff lounge/ storage on back to back doubles ). I made some of the best money in my experience as a bartender to date and I learned some of the most valuable skills with efficiency productivity and fast paced high volume service techniques that I will forever be glad for the experience and opportunity to do the whole cocktail Tom cruise thing. Although I have been self taught it was worth all those sleepless summers I networked and made some amazing friends in the industry that I’m still very close with to this day.
Weddings and private events became another avenue for me to showcase my passion and expertise. From intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, I have had the privilege of being part of countless special moments. Whether it's curating custom cocktail menus to complement the theme of the event or providing personalized service that caters to the unique preferences of each guest, I am dedicated to ensuring that every event is unforgettable.
Now, as the founder of Couple of Bartenders CT I was inspired amidst the cocktail shakers and swirling drinks, there’s a story of partnership, growth, and love that shines the brightest. Three years ago, I embarked on a new chapter in my bartending journey, not alone, but with Jeff who inspired me to take the leap and go after my dream—my now side-by-side partner, best friend, boyfriend, father of our daughter Fiona she is a spit fire, and the love of my life. . Together, we strive to elevate your events with our passion for mixology, attention to detail, and unwavering dedication to exceeding your expectations. We are committed to our service standards and for an entertaining experience for our clients and ourselves we truly enjoy what we do!
Our mobile bartending business, Couple of Bartenders CT, is not just a testament to our love for mixology but also a testament to the strength of our partnership.
